For centuries, the black cat has lived somewhere between the familiar and the mysterious.

Celebrated as companion and protector in some traditions, and regarded with suspicion in others, the black cat eventually became inseparable from European folklore surrounding magic, superstition, and the supernatural.

The Familiar Earrings capture that mythology in a wonderfully understated form. Each sculptural cat is hand enameled in deep black and finished with tiny crystal eyes that catch the light.

Their antiqued brass setting gives them the feeling of a small treasure from another era, while their simple silhouette makes them remarkably wearable.
