For centuries, the black cat has occupied a curious place between the domestic and the supernatural.

Companion, omen, protector, and alleged familiar, cats became deeply entwined with European folklore and later with the visual language of the Gothic. Yet behind the superstition is an animal whose nocturnal nature and independent spirit have always invited a certain amount of mystery.

The Familiar Necklace captures that mythology in miniature. A hand-enameled black cat stands against a pearlescent full moon, its tiny crystal eyes catching the light. An antiqued brass finish gives the pendant the appearance of a curious little treasure that might have been discovered tucked away in an old jewelry box.
